Himes Assigned Seat On Financial Services Committee
Jim Himes, D-4th District, learned Monday that he would be a member of the Financial Services Committee — a far-reaching group that plays to the dominant industries of his southwestern Connecticut district and also to his resume as a former banker.
Proposal To Extend Anti-Bias Laws In State
A proposal, to be introduced in the legislative session that begins Wednesday, would prevent people who in any way blur gender lines from being discriminated against in the workplace or while seeking housing or obtaining credit.
